dc.description	Photo of Bob Hayes standing on the ice beside the players' bench (with four skaters in the background). Alumni Arena opened its doors in November 1965. Nova Scotia football great Bob Hayes was Saint Mary's first Athletics Director from 1958-1974 and 1983-1985, as well as the first Student Services Director from 1975-1983. He also played a major role in the 1984-89 Capital Campaign.
